Yes. The seat diagram in the web/App is the actual seating arrangement in the bus and you will be allocated the seat you selected.
No. Only busses operated by Sri Lanka Transport Board is available for booking. Furthermore, you can only reserve long distance buses. Pre-booking for short distances are still not available.
A eTicket will be sent via SMS and on email. You can show either one and board the bus. You could also take a print out of the emailed ticket and present it to the bus conductor.
Yes you can. Simply forward the eTicket or take a print out and handover. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that the ticket will not be duplicated and in case two passengers claim the same ticket, we will allocate the seat to the person whose NIC/DL/Passport number is in the ticket.
You can board the bus from the nearest bus halt where long distance busses stop. Check the boarding / dropping locations given in the 2nd page under each bus.
When the bus commences its journey you will receive a link that you can simply track the bus via our app. You can send the link to anyone picking you as well.
Although we strive to give accurate timings as much as possible, we advise you to be at the boarding location 30 minutes before departure/arrival time.
Unfortunately, no. Reservations close one hour prior to departure hence seats should be booked before that.
You can, but you will be charged for the full journey of the bus.
Different busses have different routes and hence pricing and duration of the journey changes depending on the route taken.
In the 2nd page where different bus options are given, please use the filter to sort the bus options from the cheapest ticket price to the highest. This way you can select the cheapest ticket available.

Yes. It will also give you an opportunity to know whether the bus you booked stops at your destination.
You can change the travel date by calling our hotline 1315, twelve hours before the departure time of the bus. However you cannot cancel a ticket but can change your travel date without any extra cost.
Except for exceptional circumstances, in case of a breakdown a replacement bus will be provided and you will be notified via SMS the details of the new bus.
Convenience fee is the fee charged from you over the normal bus fare for using online booking website/Mobile app. The service we provide include convenience of booking, ability to select a seat of your choice, ticket cancelation, tracking the bus and boarding from the closest bus halt.
Yes. At the time of entering credit card details you will be redirected to the People’s Bank portal and all your personal credit card details will be entered there. People’s Bank is one of the oldest and largest state owned banks in Sri Lanka and you can be assured of data privacy and transaction security.
Yes you can. Simply dial 1315 and reserve your ticket. Our hotline is operated 24 X 7 and in Sinhalese, Tamil and English. You can deposit the money directly to our account via direct deposit or fund transfer.
Yes you can reserve busses for trips and other outings. We have 3 basic models: The normal Ashok Leyland non AC bus, the Kinglong luxury AC buses and the double decker busses.
